Job Description Do you like talking to people? Does seeing things go to waste inspire you to act? Then join the recycling team! The Tufts Office of Sustainability is looking for a student to assist with education and outreach efforts University-wide about recycling and waste reduction best practices. The Education and Verification Intern will deliver materials and presentations to different departments within the University and be in charge of other outreach activities. They will be responsible for getting Tufts community members the materials (e.g. recycling bins, labels, signs) they need to successfully divert usable materials from the waste stream, and providing education at the same time. The intern will also work with our waste hauler to identify the best locations within the University to carry out outreach programs and will have the opportunity to organize waste audits in partnership with Tufts Facilities Services division and our waste hauler.
