Job Description Tufts Institute of the Environment (TIE) is seeking a graduate student to assist with coordinating TIE’s Environmental Alumni and Partnership Engagement. The alumni engagement tasks for which the intern will be responsible include: developing an alumni engagement strategy; leveraging campus resources from Alumni Relations and Career Services for current student and alumni interaction; tracking alumni achievements; developing content and news stories for the quarterly production of the Tufts Environmental Alumni (TEA) Network newsletter and the monthly population of TIE program LinkedIn pages. The partnership engagement tasks for which the intern will be responsible include: advancing TIE’s partnership engagement strategy; updating and expanding TIE’s database of collaborating local, national and international organizations and individuals; maintaining relationships with TIE partners and collaborators. This position is ideal for someone interested in exercising or developing his/her social networking skills and tools. Interested students should send: 1) Cover letter 2) Resume. Job Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications: excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with cross-industry professionals and peers, proficient in Microsoft Access and Excel, interested in the environment. Preferred Skills & Qualifications – Knowledge of environmental programs internal and external to Tufts. Students from any Tufts program may apply, but students from Tufts Gordon Institute and with work-study awards are given preference.

Compensation $11.00/hour to $13.00/hour, Commensurate with education level and/or experience as well as ability to work independently
