Environmental Intern – Graphic Design & Marketing

Tufts Institute of the Environment (TIE) is looking for a graduate or undergraduate student to assist with graphic design and marketing related tasks at TIE. This intern will be responsible for creating promotional materials and visuals for TIE events and programs. Graphic design needs are likely to include posters, flyers, social media picture banners, report infographics, swag, etc.. The person would be expected to work approximately 1-3 hours per week on an as needed basis and may work remotely if based at the Boston or Grafton campus. This position is ideal for someone with illustrative and photographic artistic ability, an interest in the environment and who is seeking a flexible schedule / remote working conditions. Required Skills & Qualifications: flexible, reliable, able to meet deadlines, excellent visual design awareness, detail-oriented, proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Publisher or other graphic design programs. Preferred Skills & Qualifications – Knowledge of environmental programs at Tufts. Students from any Tufts program may apply, but students from SMFA and with work-study awards are given preference.
1.0 to 3.0 hours per week
$11.00/hour to $13.00/hour, Commensurate with education level and/or experience as well as ability to work independently
